16 Million veterans are eligible to vote. In 2016 and 2020 too many followed a call to arms by a fake commander in chief, raised a false flag to actually support insurrection. This is now well documented. NPR compiled a list of January 6 defendants and nearly 20%, have served or are currently serving in the U.S. military. About 7% of all American adults are military veterans, according to the U.S. Census Bureau. Members of pho-military groups like the Proud Boys, Oathkeepers and Bugaloo Boys, are now serving their country in jail.
Many vets who voted for the orange antichrist in 2020 tell me that they love this country, love our people, and genuinely thought they were serving our people. But they see the error of their ways.
The meme “not suckers or losers” can be taken to every veteran, to every vets organization, to the VA hospitals, Vets homes, to their web sites, to military history sites etc. to flip this election.
All of us, active duty, or old soldiers (I was discharged in 1968, reserve obligation ended in 1974), our families, and our supporters must be aware that we are viewed by the Republicans as “takers” and they plan to cut, “sunset” or eliminate our benefits.
President Biden has signed into law nearly 30 bipartisan bills that address some of the most important issues facing veterans today, including the PACT Act, which is most significant expansion of benefits and services for toxic exposed veterans in more than 30 years. And his Administration and Congress have worked together to expand access to health care, address veteran homelessness, improve access to child and long-term care, and support education and workforce opportunity for veterans and their families.
Florida has more than 1.6 million vets nearly 1 in every 12 adult and 250,000 disabled veterans. Virtually all vote. If we can flip most of the 2020 vet vote, together with FT6 adding new Democrats, we can flip the state. https://www.fieldteam6.org/actions

Excellent issue of Baghdad by the Sea-thanks for centering veterans. Vote Vets is a great resource. I recommend that others, particularly county party officers, make personal contact with them. Here in Montezuma County, CO they have reached out to local vets to get endorsements on issues pertinent to us - a recent example is the proposed national monument designation for the Dolores River Canyon. We are going to ask them to endorse candidates running in red districts who are vets - we have a Democratic woman running for CO senate district 6 who's also a vet. Their endorsement will go a long way to win votes. This is a Republican stronghold and we've not had a Dem run for this seat.
Love this Daniel!! Supporting our Vets is one of the many reasons I do what I do. Thank you so very much for your service!! This Country owes each and every single one of you a huge debt of Gratitude.

I'm working hard every day too to help make sure that DJT never ever sets foot in the White House again.
Another great Substack I ran across recently you may or not heard of is called "The Grumpy Combat Veteran" written by retired Major Will Selber. He spent multiple tours in the Iraq and Afghanistan wars and writes beautifully about his experiences both painful and otherwise. He also has a deep knowledge of foreign affairs as well. I highly recommend his site. He still struggles too with the way the Afghanistan war ended and could use some support.

Thanks again Daniel for all you do. I always enjoy reading your comments. Glad to be with you in this continued fight to save our Country. It is indeed an Honor. ❤️🇺🇸💙
