Excellent issue of Baghdad by the Sea-thanks for centering veterans. Vote Vets is a great resource. I recommend that others, particularly county party officers, make personal contact with them. Here in Montezuma County, CO they have reached out to local vets to get endorsements on issues pertinent to us - a recent example is the proposed national monument designation for the Dolores River Canyon. We are going to ask them to endorse candidates running in red districts who are vets - we have a Democratic woman running for CO senate district 6 who's also a vet. Their endorsement will go a long way to win votes. This is a Republican stronghold and we've not had a Dem run for this seat.
Love this Daniel!! Supporting our Vets is one of the many reasons I do what I do. Thank you so very much for your service!! This Country owes each and every single one of you a huge debt of Gratitude.

I'm working hard every day too to help make sure that DJT never ever sets foot in the White House again.
Another great Substack I ran across recently you may or not heard of is called "The Grumpy Combat Veteran" written by retired Major Will Selber. He spent multiple tours in the Iraq and Afghanistan wars and writes beautifully about his experiences both painful and otherwise. He also has a deep knowledge of foreign affairs as well. I highly recommend his site. He still struggles too with the way the Afghanistan war ended and could use some support.
Thanks again Daniel for all you do. I always enjoy reading your comments. Glad to be with you in this continued fight to save our Country. It is indeed an Honor. ❤️🇺🇸💙
That is another point that every American needs to get their head around — the decency we owe to our veterans, no matter what we think of a government that sends them off to foreign lands perhaps too often and with too little thought about what they encounter when there …
These are people who have put their bodies on the line because our country has asked them to — whether we agree with all the policies or not, they were asked in OUR name, and they went in OUR name, and they deserve to come home to a country that recognizes and does right by them. Our military vets want to do right by the country, too. Let’s get them the info they need to make those good choices.
Excellent points, Donald. Reaching them is not only good for getting out the vote for rationality and decency in November, but it’s a service to people who’ve done a service to this country to get them off the Donald Train.
I was looking at the votevets site. It's amazing how many people have served our country and are still serving now in the political world. My question is do they only back Democrats? To me that isn't very important these days. And do they back any vet running or do they lifted who else is running for that office as a Democrat?

You are a media pro -- make it go viral!
Hey, I’m a writer — just a writer — only now learning about all this “go viral” stuff!
I’m trying to make ME go viral {and I don’t mean I wanna catch the flu}.
Hey, I’ll promote that column. Soon as I figure out how to do that on this Substack thingy. {😎}
For sure, I always want to know that I am promoting somebody I trust to write with integrity …
Amen!! ❤️🇺🇸💙
Smart man. Now let us ALL get to work and DO IT! FLIP THOSE VOTES!
Spread the word.

Mostly Democrats.
