Daniel--First THANKS for using the donation-based Substack model. I also use this for my Substacks.

On saving the world, lots to do. We live in a state (Colorado) with day of election registration so the calculus is somewhat different. My focus is on meaningful engagement of voters leading to active and throughtful voting participation. I learned how challenging and energizing when running for local office (1 loss, then 3 wins).

As an example, we are in the middle of special election to fill the seat vacated by Ken Buck. What I am seeing is a scramble by both parties to bring candidates to the ballot. Neither party is particularily prepared so the default will be towards pre-existing registration. We will have a repeat of the election in November and there is a need--even in red counties--to persuade voters to register as Democratic party members.

Field Team 6 has some important lessons even in a place where a lack of registration does not preclude voting on election day.

It’s meant to be overwhelming! One goal of spreading Libertarian rule is based “shock and awe” to overwhelm with multi-attacks on democracy.

Daniel:

No harm in reaching out as well to registered unlikely Democrats!

No?
